Hi All!
We enjoyed our meeting at Beth’s last night. We had a somewhat small group but the paintings were great. Happy Birthday Norbert!

Julian Beever is an English artist who’s famous for his art on the pavement of England, France, Germany, USA, Australia and Belgium

Thirsty

Did you spot Julian Beever on the Top of the Bottle?

Do you notice everything is fake, even! the hose and water?!

Look closely, you can see the bricks through the chalk on the monitor screen!

There is no hole in this pavement.

People are actually avoiding walking in the ‘hole’

Which is the real guy, which beer is real?

World’s Biggest Fly-Spray!

This drawing of a Rescue was to be viewed using an inverting mirror.

You can still see the blocks of concrete.

Spiderman to! the! rescue.

Batman and Robin to the rescue (SO COOL)

Another 1st Thursday Critique Group Meeting, this time Diana Lyn was our host. Diana knows how to host a gathering, complete with wine, margaritas, brie, cheesecake and of course some exceptional art and good company. I was running late so unfortunately I missed the beginning of our meeting, where the topic was bringing some organization to our meetings. As artists organization is not always a topic to get excited about, though I guess minimal structure is necessary.I want to share the work we critiqued this month. (1 of 2)
